خلاصه مقاله:
Magne sium has l ow density, high strength to we ight ratio and other good physical and mechan ical characteristic, wh ich makes it possible for structu ral applications in aerospace, electro nics and automobile fields. Application of surface engineering tec hnique is the most appropr iate method to enhance the corrosion resis tance of m agnesium alloys. Am ong the various technique s that are available f or this pur pose, coati ng by elect roless nick el is of special interest due to its go od corrosion and wear resistance, deposit un iformity, electrical and thermal condu ctivity [۱-۳ ]. This study reports the work ca rried out on electroles s nickel plating on AZ۶۱ magnesium alloy. This coating has been characterized for its structure, morpho logy and c orrosion characteristic s.
