Thermodynamic study of interactions between N, N-dimethylacetamide and homologe series of ۲- Alkanols

Multi component liquid mixtures have attracted the attention of researchers in the past decades .Physical properties are very important factors in chemical and engineering processes because of their influence upon the effectiveness of the operations. Mass and heat tra nsfer processes and flow operations are evident examples of the importance of the knowledge for these properties [۱,۲].In the present study the Densities of binary mixtures of N,N-dimethylacetamide with ۲-Alkanos, over the entire composition range were measured at ۲۹۸.۱۵ K and ambient pressure. From the experimental data, excess molar volume V mE , calculated. The results have been fitted to the Redlich-Kister equation and the resulting coefficients have been calculated and estimate the standard error.
