چکیده

Introduction and goal; In today's machine life and technology, physical activity has decreased significantly. Acquiring knowledge about physical activity is one of the intrinsic motivations for participating in physical activity. Those who are familiar with the concepts of physical activity understand its value better. Not all human beings can be physically active and benefit from this activity. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of exercise programs on physical fitness, depression and self-efficacy in the elderly.research method; The study is a review, using relevant information from Pub med, Scopus, Google Scholer databases. Data analysis was performed qualitatively.Findings: In the elderly, exercise has a positive effect on physical fitness; Prevents or reduces the symptoms of acute illnesses (such as arthritis, high blood pressure, back pain, sciatica, osteoporosis, diabetes) and is also effective in increasing mental health (depression).conclusion and discussion; The results of the research prove the hypothesis that a program that includes training and exercise has a positive effect on measuring the physical fitness, depression and self-efficacy of the elderly.
