چکیده مقاله:

Background: Pregnancy is one of the most important and enjoyable periods of life and at the same time a sensitive period in women's lives that can expose women to inappropriate physical, psychological and social conditions. These large changes in pregnant women can be associated with increased stress and stress in them. Currently, the stressful conditions created by the Covid ۱۹ pandemic are a threat to health, especially in vulnerable groups, including pregnant women. Since the study of stress in women during pregnancy in midwifery is of particular importance because of its adverse effects on pregnancy outcomes and increased cesarean section, the aim of this study was to determine the effect of counseling with BELIFE۱ approach on the stresses of pregnant women caused by Covid ۱۹ pandemic. Methods: The present study is a randomized controlled clinical trial. In this study, ۶۶ pregnant women aged ۲۴ to ۲۸ weeks referring to comprehensive centers in Isfahan who met the inclusion criteria were selected and then randomly divided into two groups of ۳۳ intervention and control. At the beginning of the study, both groups completed demographic information and PRERS۲ questionnaire. After that, the intervention started in the form of ۳ sessions of individual counseling by BELIFE method, once a week, the first session was done immediately after completing the questionnaires for the intervention group. No consultation was performed in the control group. The post-test was performed two weeks after the last consultation session for both groups. Data were analyzed using SPSS۲۶ software. Significance level was considered <۰.۰۵.Results: The results showed that the two groups were identical for most demographic variables. The mean and standard deviation of stress score after the intervention was ۴۳.۱۹ (۱۰.۳۹) in the intervention group and ۴۵.۴۵ (۱۱.۵۶) in the control group. Comparison of the mean stress score in the post-intervention stage showed that both in the intervention group and in the control group, this score increased, which was statistically significant in the control group. Conclusion: The results of this study show that although BELIFE method counseling in pregnant women was able to reduce the mean scores of stress caused by Covid ۱۹ pandemic in the experimental group, but this difference was not statistically significant. Therefore, although the method of BELIFE counseling in pregnant women who naturally suffer from pregnancy stress is an acceptable way to reduce their stress, but this method is not enough to reduce the stress caused by Covid ۱۹ pandemic in these women.
