چکیده
Background and Objective: Scientists are interested in biosynthesis of Ag nanoparticles due to their biological activity. In this study, facile, eco-friendly and cost-effective method was used for the biosynthesis of silver nanoparticles using as alcoholic extract of Elaeagnus angustifolia (E. angustifolia; AgNPs@EAE).The as-obtained biogenic silver nanoparticles were characterized using Field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), Ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy (UV-Vis), X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), Fouriertransform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) analysis. The surface plasmon resonance band of the prepared biogenic silver nanoparticles was observed as about ۴۲۰ nm during the reaction (۲۰ min) at ۶۰℃. Due to the FE-SEM images, the as-obtained AgNPs@EAE was homogeneous, spherical morphology and particle size about ۳۵ nm. The antibacterial activity of the AgNPs@EAE was investigated against ATCC strain for both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) values for synthesized silver nanoparticles against Escherichia coli (E. coli), Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) and Klebsiella pneumoniae (K. pneumoniae) were ۱.۲۵, ۲.۵ and ۲۰ μg/ml, respectively. Therefore, results of the findings showed that E. angustifolia capped silver nanoparticles can be useful in biological applicationsکلیدواژه ها
