Experimental Investigation of Ni+۲ Ion Sorption from Synthtic Wastewater by MOF MIL-۵۳(Cr) in a Fixed-bed Adsorption Column

چکیده
The major contamination caused by industries is pollution of air and water. Gases from reactors, towers and furnaces, and ... pollute the air, and the waste water causes pollution in river, underground, and even drinkable waters. In this study, the kinetics of nickel ion (II) adsorption on MOF MIL-۵۳ (Cr) was first determined and it was found that the first-order first-order adsorption kinetics showed good compatibility with both Langmuir and Freundlich adsorption models. To remove ion nickel, adsorption method was used by MOF MIL-۵۳(Cr) adsorbent using Taguchi method with L۱۶ array using Minitab software. Also, the effect of four parameters of concentration, absorption column length, and sampling time on adsorption was investigated. The results showed that the highest percentage of adsorption for the ۲۰ cm column was ۴۰ at ۴۰ ppm and flow ۰. ۴ L/min at the time of sampling for ۱۵ minutes at ۲۰ °C and pH=۶.
