چکیده مقاله:

This research examines the pressure drop of the fluid in the fissure and rock matrix for different stress states using the computational fluid dynamics. The case study in this research is a cylindrical (Core) and cubic (Cubic) rock with a linear split pattern. In the cylindrical sample, an identical tensile stress is introduced into the rock as well as the axial stress. These stresses generally influences the fluid flow dynamics. The geometry of the fissures in these blocks is assumed as a linear fissure. The conductivity rate of fissure is affected by the lateral stresses. In a cube-shaped sample, three-axial stresses are introduced on rock and fluid. These stresses change the dynamics of the in-fissure flow. The COMSOL simulation software has been used in this study.
