چکیده مقاله:

Despite all the advantages of fusion welds, the appearance of residual stress as well as the resulting deformations is among the significant causes that affect the performance of these connections to a great extent. During the heat cycle applied on the connection zone during the weld, the above-mentioned effects become highly apparent. Therefore, a close investigation of weld connections and provision of solutions in order to decrease its unfavorable impacts will improve both the connection behavior and subsequently the whole structure’s behavior. In this study ABAQUS finite element’s software, heat and mechanical analysis, as well as Goldak’s non-uniform heat source, the stresses occurred in direct connection to the ST-۳۷ steel beam, used in construction industry has been investigated.
