چکیده

The selection of a consultant is one of the most important decisions that an employer makes and the success of any project depends on the selection of the most appropriate specialists in terms of skills, knowledge and experience, managerial capabilities. The aim of this study is evaluation of consulting engineers companies in inland urban bridge projects with emphasis on quality based selection method. According to the results of the collected data and the opinion of the majority of experts (more frequency), currently in Iran, the method of selection based on quality is used to a small extent and only in specific public and private projects. However, according to the majority ofexperts, this method should be used in most large and medium-sized projects specifically built by the private sector and large and medium-sized government projects.
