چکیده

Synthesis and characterization of bioactive bis(۱-(cyclohexylamino)-۱-oxoalkyl or aryl) fumarate dimers via the reaction of the Fumaric acid (HO۲CCH=CHCO۲H), isocyano-cyclohexane, various aldehydes and Sodium chloride as an useful green-catalyst using the Passerini three-component reaction (P-۳CR), under the conditions defined by Sharpless (on water conditions) at room temperature is described. This rapid method produced the products in short reaction times (۳۰–۴۵ min) and excellent yields (۸۵–۹۰%). The in vitro antibacterial activities of this compounds were evaluated against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria using the cultures of three different standard microorganisms. Most of the compounds prepared as part of this study exhibited good antibacterial activity against Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Acinetobacter calcoaceticus and Bacillus subtilis.
