Synthesis of Some ۸-Caffeinyl Piperazine Carboxylate as Novel Caffeine-Based Ionic Liquids and study of their Potential Biological Effects

Due to the importance of ionic liquids and their usage in medicinal chemistry in recent researches, special attention has been towards to them. Also, the applications of the natural resources in rational drug design, synthesis new derivatives and considering that no synthesis of any ionic liquid with the core of caffeine has been reported. So far, in this research we present an efficient protocol for the synthesis of the novel caffeine-based ionic liquids with the possibility of showing biological properties
