DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF EQ-DISASTER SCENARIOS ON THE URBAN AREAS

The Disaster Scenarios (DISC) are the basic integral part of disaster mitigation policy. The DISC, as a modern imagination of the risk analysis, permits to come to understand, to feel deeply, to aware, and at least to alleviate the possible disaster on the any urban area (UA). For development of the geoinformative system (GIS) and the step-bystep technique are in use: EQ impact refinement; database (DB) creation; collection of bank of experience (BE); the assessment of damage-formating factors (DFF) estimation evaluation buildings and populations vulnerability; the damage, disaster measuring by means of Disaster Magnitude (DIMAK) Scale and, at least, risk analysis and awareness. The methodolody and technique of DISC's constraction, the essence of the especially developed "DIMAK" Scale, and the DISC & DIMAK appication to concrete seismic-prone UA are presented.
