THE METHOD OF PREDICTING SEISMIC SUBSIDENCE OF URBAN LOESS GROUND UNDER THE EFFECT OF EARTHQUAKES

In this paper, the method of predicting seismic subsidence quantities of loess ground with various probabilities of exceedance based on dynamic triaxial test results of ground soil under irregular seismic loadings was presented. To take some grounds for example, the authors attempted this method of tested-evaluated prediction and satisfactory results were gained. This makes it possible to apply directly the results of seismic risk analysis and seismic response calculation of soil deposit in earthquake disaster prediction of ground.
