INFLUENCE OF LOCAL SEISMOGEOLOGICAL CONDITIONS ON SEISMIC HAZARD

The shocks of intensity ۷ with recurrence period less than ۱۰۰ years and less probable ones with intensity ۸ and period of ۱۰۰۰>T>۱۰۰ years constitute seismic danger for the territory of Izmail. Intensity variations within the city limits are caused by geological and engineering conditions and have no prominent anomalous character. Various degree of building failure within the same sites during earthquakes of ell magnitude and mean equal intensity has been determined. This is conected with variable spectral composition of source radiation.
