چکیده مقاله:

Objective: The aim of this study is to examine the epidemiology of the incidence of corpus uteri cancer and mortality in ۱۸۵ countries and its relationship with the HDI index in ۲۰۱۸.MethodsThis is a descriptive cross-sectional study that is based on the extraction of cancer incidence data and cancer mortality rates from the World Bank for Cancer in ۲۰۱۸. The incidence and mortality rates and corpus uteri cancer distribution maps were drawn for World countries. Correlation test and regression tests were used to evaluate the correlation between the incidence and mortality with HDI. The statistical analysis was carried out by Stata-۱۴ and the significance level was estimated at the level of ۰.۰۵.ResultsThe results showed that there was a positive and significant correlation between incidence (R = ۰.۶۹۳, P <۰.۰۰۰۱) and mortality (R = ۰.۲۸۴, P <۰.۰۰۰۱) of uterine cancer with HDI index. Our results also revealed that there was a positive and significant correlation between the incidence rate with the GNI (r = ۰.۴۴, P <۰.۰۰۰۱), MYS (r = ۰.۷۴, P <۰.۰۰۰۱), LEB (r = ۰.۵۹, P <۰.۰۰۰۱) and EYS (r = ۰.۶۵, P <۰.۰۰۰۱). There was a positive and significant correlation between incidence (R = ۰.۶۹۳, P <۰.۰۰۰۱) and mortality (R = ۰.۲۸۴, P <۰.۰۰۰۱) of uterine cancer with the HDI index. The linear regression model demonstrated that an increase in MYS [B=۱.۱, CI۹۵ %( ۰.۶, ۱.۷)] is associated with reduced incidence of corpus uteri cancer. In addition, an increase in LBE [B=۰.۸, CI۹۵%(-۰.۰۹, ۰.۰۰۱)] leads to increased mortality of uteri cancer (P<۰.۰۵).ConclusionHigher incidence and mortality of the cancer in high-HDI countries are indicative of the risk factors associated with this disease in these countries.
