خلاصه مقاله:
In this paper, a cogeneration process integrating a ۲۵ MW gas turbine cycle and hybridthermal/membrane desalination with thermal coupling, in order to produce fresh water from a highlybrackish source, is studied. The rejected heat from the gas turbine is used to produce the required steamfor a MED. The scenario considered in hybridization of RO and MED is preheating of RO feed flow byMED brine and product flow. Results show that by RO feed preheating; RO power consumption isreduced up to ۲۱.۵% annually.
