Korean architecture during the Joseon Dynasty had the greatest impact on Korean architecture, and since the Joseon Dynasty lived in Hanyang (modern-day Seoul), the Joseon Royal Palace is located there and represents the identity and masterpiece of Korean architecture and beauty. In Korea, aesthetics were highly valued, although dancheong was mostly used to protect the building, on the other hand, it gave the building a unique beauty. They used the five colors of Wu Xing and their color combinations, all of which have different meanings in the designs and colors used in Dancheong.
