چکیده مقاله:

Objective The immense assorted variety of data accessible through the Internet, containing unconfirmed pernicious data, can spread rapidly and can misguide nursing and allied health staffs (NAHSs). False impressions among NAHSs defer controlling endeavors to deliver important treatment, lead to the quick spread of contamination in clinical settings, and put patients' lives in danger. The goal of this research was to assess the impact of NAHSs’ e-health literacy and other determinants on their behaviors from COVID-۱۹ infection. Methods This study was conducted on allied health and nursing staffs in health care organizations affiliated to Semnan University of Medical Sciences in Iran. Two valid questionnaires such as e- health literacy and preventive behaviors were used. Multiple logistic models were used to explain the relationship between one dependent binary variable and other variables.Findings There were significant direct and positive relationships between e-health literacy (Beta=۰.۶۰, ۹۵% CI: ۱.۳۵-۲.۴۵, and P<۰.۰۰۱), and English language skills (Beta= ۲.۲۹, ۹۵% CI: ۱.۷۹-۵۴.۰۳, and P=۰.۰۰۹) with preventive behaviors. Conclusions It is concluded that strengthening workers' e-health literacy can help to reduce the spread of COVID -۱۹ infections in healthcare settings. It is proposed that policymakers and nursing informatics educators adjust e-health policies to advance the e-health literacy in health care settings.
