خلاصه مقاله:
Colorectal cancer is one of the major health problem in the world. Efforts to develop effective drugs that target undifferentiated colorectal cancer cells (CRCs) remain challenging. Therefore finding novel compounds with high and low toxicity on CRCs and normal cells respectively has high value. Fish-oil derived docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) is a safe compound with anti-proliferative activities on different kinds of cancer cells. Here, we investigated the inhibitory effect of this omega-۳ compound on the undifferentiated CRCs Caco۲.
