Error concealment for INTER frames in standard video codec

In this paper a spatio-temporal error concealment algorithm for video transmission in an error-prone environment is proposed. The proposed technique employs motion vector estimation with edge consideration, and spatial interpolation. The algorithm has been applied to H.26L video decoder, providing a satisfactory performance over large set of operating conditions.
