چکیده مقاله:

Introduction: Nowadays, nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) has been known as a huge burden on the shoulders of health systems. It were found by lodvig and his worker for the first time in ۱۹۸۰. nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is the most common chronic liver disease in children and adults. Ultrasound studies in Western society indicate a ۲۵% prevalence of the disease. There is no effective treatment for thiis disease. Recently, probiotics are suggested as possible treatment. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of probiotics in NAFLD treatment.Methods: In this interventional study, which was performed as a double-blind randomized clinical trial, ۸۰ patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease referred to Beasat hospital in Tehran during ۲۰۱۸ and ۲۰۱۹ who wish to participate in the study Were randomly selected and evaluated. Then, the obtained data were statistically analyzed using SPSS software version ۲۱ and the significance was determined by considering P value <۰.۰۵. Analysis study was performed by SPSS version ۲۱ and significant level consider P value <۰.۵. Results: The data show that after taking probiotics, the mean BMI in all three groups decreased significantly (p-value <۰.۰۰۱). Also, the mean of laboratory findings including hgb and mcv did not differ between the three groups.Conclusions: Overall, the study showed that AST, ALT, ALP and PLT indices were also present in all three groups after the period of probiotic consumption or the ability to significantly reduce assets (p-value <۰.۰۰۱).
