خلاصه مقاله:
The correlation between literature and philosophy has affected human life for centuries. When after the abominable incidents of the twentieth century, the lost hope in humanity could not be easily restored by political equations, these two disciples saved human society and the wounded civilization by reminding man of the long path he has taken since the emergence of Homo sapiens on earth. The impact of literature on the restoration of hope during a crisis can be found in different genres, and it cannot be underestimated. This article aims to point out the inherent hope in literature by drawing on the examples in philosophical statements and Anglophone literature from classics and modern writing to delineate the track of thought that has guarded the hope in humanity for centuries. Finally, regarding the sociopolitical context of our era, it is discussed how maintaining this track of thought could help the twenty-first-century man build a better future.
