چکیده مقاله:
Background and Aim : Identifying the causes of septicemia as one of the leading causes of death in hospitalized patients and urinary tract infection (UTI) as the second most common cause of infection in the human body is essential in the management and treatment of patients. The aim of this study was to Epidemiological study of bacterial causes of blood and UTI in patients referred to Besat Hospital in Sanandaj during the first three months of ۲۰۱۹.Methods : This study was descriptive-retrospective, based on data from ۳۹۴۷ urine culture samples and ۹۴۳ blood culture samples taken from patients referred to Besat Hospital in Kurdistan Province, Sanandaj, from March to June ۲۰۱۹. The samples were examined for infection-causing agents identified by culture and Biochemical methods of bacterial identification. Findings with SPSS۲۰ software and Chi-Square test were analyzed.Results : ۷.۶۳% of blood culture samples and ۶.۷۷% of urine culture samples were positive. Bacteria isolated from blood culture and urine culture included: Escherichia coli (۵.۵۵% and ۶۵.۱۷%), Staphylococcus saprophyticus (۹.۷۲% and ۶%), Enterobacter (۴.۱۷% and ۵.۲۴%), Citrobacter (۶.۹۴% and ۵.۲۴%), Staphylococcus epidermidis (۳۱.۹۴% and ۴.۹%), Klebsiella (۰.۰% and ۴.۱۱%), Serachia (۱.۳۹% and ۴.۱۱%) , Proteus (۱.۳۹% and ۲.۶۷%), Streptococcus (۱.۳۹% and ۰.۳۷%), Acinetobacter (۲۲.۲۲% and ۰.۷۴%), Pseudomonas (۰.۰% and ۱.۱۲%) and Stenotrophomonas maltophilia (۱۵.۲۸% and ۰.۰%) respectively.Conclusion : According to the results of the study, Staphylococcus epidermidis and Acinetobacter are the most common causes of blood infection and Escherichia coli is the most common cause of UTI. Careful diagnosis of pathogens that cause infection is essential.
