چکیده مقاله:

In developing countries, such as Iran, quality education in remote areas is a key issue as access to formal education is related to improved rural student living prospects. Accessibility is a minimum space gap for schools, among other considerations. In most cities in southeastern Iran, the spatial distribution of schools is usually unequal and thus restricting access to primary school. This paper analyzes the spatial distribution of schools located in the south of Kerman Province in primary schools. The results show an unevenly dispersed school trend and declining accessibility at higher cost, with longer travel times. The cost-savvy distance showed the space distribution to the primary school students living in the city extends the travel journey. The reorganization and spatial redesign of schools in the field will however improve student access to schools.
