چکیده مقاله:

Iranian traditional architecture had adapted to the climatic components and it met the functional and decorative needs of each space by using architectural elements. This had ensured the stability of the building against climatic conditions and also it led the elements such as garden pits and Orosi to emerge. Orosi which is one the important symbols of Iranian traditional architecture performed functions such as blocking glare, creating privacy, passive cooling system, a part of architectural decorations and space spirituality at the same time. These remarkable properties of Orosi had led to the investigation through the effects of colored glasses on the amount of electricity consumption. For this purpose, Orosi of Nasir Al-Molk Mosque was selected as a case study, and the relationship between colored glasses and electricity consumption are analyzed by Dialux software. In this research, two types of glasses: colorless and colored glasses, according to the original sample, are used in the same modeling in terms of dimensions for each type, and ۲۵ fluorescent lamps (۲۴ * ۳W) are used in both stages of research. It is concluded that the both types of glasses (colorless and colored glass) consumed the same amount of electricity (۲۰.۸۹ W / m۲) for providing a luminance of ۵۰۰ lux. Therefore, using colorful glasses does not affect reducing or increasing the amount of electricity consumption compared to ordinary colorless glasses.
