چکیده مقاله:
Nowadays, most advanced societies in the world use porous and pervious concrete mixtures as a viable alternative to the earlier hard and impervious pavements to construct pavements in sidewalks, parks, or low-traffic streets, such as bike lanes or parking lots for light vehicles. As a result, the use of pervious concrete in the construction of pavements has attracted more attention than ever in terms of flood control, economic justification, and environmental friendliness. This paper aimed to produce a type of pervious concrete that, in addition to meeting the criteria of high porosity and permeability, can exhibit high compressive strength and workability in terms of resistance to applied loads. In this context, some aggregate samples with different physical, chemical and grading characteristics and different percentages of admixtures and cement were mixed in a given mix design and different proportions, and various types of pervious concrete with different strengths at different ages were produced. After performing the slump, compressive strength, porosity, and permeability tests on different samples, the diagrams were examined and interpreted and the results were analyzed. Accordingly, the best mix design was presented in terms of conformity to the standards and meeting the strength and economic factors.
