خلاصه مقاله:
In this study the effect of optimal machining parameters such as servo voltage (SV), peak current (Ip), pulse on time (Pon) and pulse off time (Poff) of Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) operations was investigated in order to maximize the material removal rate (MRR). Effect of selected parameters on process variable, material removal rate was investigated by developing the mathematical model using response surface method (RSM). Optimal combination of these parameters was obtained for achieving controlled machining of the work-pieces. The accuracy of prediction model was analyzed by statistical methods; absolute fraction of variance, root mean square and mean absolute percentage error.
