چکیده مقاله:
Control valves internal parts almost are made by martensitic stainless steel and are heat treated, coated or nitrated to receive high hardness for subjecting to erosion of fluid. In this paper, mechanical properties as hardness and erosion lost metal of martensitic stainless steel are investigated in three condition of heat treatment, coating by stelliet.۶ and hardened surface layer by nitrogen to selection the best material as internal parts of valves. Studies show high mechanical properties received by nitration in compare by heat treatment and coating of hard materials, but this method has high cost impact. Comparison between heat treated and stellited coating is specified that based on galling and cracking are created in upper temperature of ۴۲۷◦C (۸۰۰◦F) of heat treated method, this method is not good suggestion for intermediate and high temperature design conditions.
