Conductive Inks: History and Future Prospects

The advancement of nanoscience and technology leads to the manufacturing of materials with enhanced and unique properties that can be used in different applications. Conductive ink is a compound that is used in the field of electronic printing to achieve electronic goods. This type of ink is prepared by incorporating various fillers such as metal nanoparticles, conductive polymers, and carbon materials. This study surveys the properties of these inks prepared from different approaches, and their challenges are addressed.
