In this work, an environmentally friendly and easy in performance dual gel electro-membrane extraction approach (dual G-EME) was combined with high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Method was proposed for parallel isolation, enrichment and determination of brilliant green (BG) and reactive red (RR) as model basic and acidic dyes, respectively. A DIY (do-it-yourself) agarose-based gel membrane was fabricated, and served as green biodegradable and highly-selective filtering item. By using an electric potential of ۵۰ V during ۲۰ min extraction time, the positively charged BG and negatively charged RR migrated selectively from a ۷.۰ mL aqueous sample (pH ۷.۰) to the ۵۰۰ μL cathodic (pH ۴.۰) and ۵۰۰ μL anodic (pH ۹.۰) aqueous acceptor phases (APs), respectively. Under the optimized conditions, limits of detection were ۰.۰۲۰ and ۰.۰۲۵ ng mL-۱, and extraction recoveries were of ۷۵-۷۸% and ۶۷-۷۱% for BG and RR, respectively. The assembly provided good linearity with correlation coefficients. Ultimately, the methodology was successfully applied for parallel quantification of BG and RR in complex environmental samples.
