Environmental pollution has increased greatly over the past few years as a result of urbanization, environmental, geological and global changes. There are also many toxic pollutants present in nature that may have important environmental consequences. There is a need to develop new intelligent materials to sustain and control environmental pollution. On the other hand, hydrogen production by electrochemical water is environmentally friendly, sustainable and an alternative to energy carriers of fossil fuels. In the present research, a three-component nanocomposite of ZnS/g-C۳N۴ was synthesized as an effective photocatalyst by hydrothermal method. The morphology and structure of the synthesized nanocomposite were investigated with different analysis techniques such as XRD technique. The ability of this nanocomposite as catalyst for photocatalytic hydrogen production was evaluated. The results show that the proposed nanocatalyst has a good performance to hydrogen evolution reaction. Increased absorption of visible light in this nanocomposite and high stability of the electron-hole pair due to radiation are considered as the excellent performance of this nanocomposite.
