چکیده مقاله:

This study was designed to evaluate the correlation between demographic data, educational levels, knowledge and protective performances in pandemic COVID-۱۹ in a group of people referred to a private medical-dental clinic. One hundred and ninety eight participants completed a questionnaire about their demographic data, knowledge and protective performance in pandemic COVID-۱۹. Results showed that there was no significant correlation between sex, age and educational level with their knowledge and protective performances. As well as there was not any correlation between knowledge and protective behaviours. There was a negative correlation between regular visits by physician and dentists and protective observations among participants indicated that people who used more protective methods were less likely to visit a physician or dentist regularly. Our study showed that despite the fact that participants' information about COVID-۹ was at an acceptable level and the protective performances were reasonable, but there was not a correlation between age, gender, level of education and also people's knowledge about the disease with the degree of protective performances.
