چکیده مقاله:
Nowadays, the people are attracted through the fascinating manufacturing and engineering technologies. The Nanotechnology (the consideration on the scale of atoms and molecules) is the recent development into the physics domain. This development is one of the greatest and cleanest improvements which have been introduced to the industrial works so far. Nanotechnology is an exciting area of scientific development which indicates ‘more for less’. It offers different type of solutions to create smaller, cheaper, lighter and faster stuffs that have high ability to perform the sensitive works, and have sufficient capacity to consume fewer raw materials and use less energy. In real situation, there are many examples of the applications (regarding the nanotechnology) from the simple stuff to the complex one. The idea of using mechanical properties of Gallium Nitride Nanotubes to investigate the effect of imperfect geometry of the Nanowire was performed by Dr. Zaoyang Guo (2009). His main argument was, the vertical bar experiences uniaxial (not always) compression loading up to a critical load and following the buckling and now if vertical bar has initially arc-shape with a small curvature, what is the effect of the imperfection on response of the nanowire? His long term ultimate goal is to measure the young’s modulus of the nano material for regular and irregular shaped wire. The principal objective of this study is to evaluate the response of a straight shaped nanowire under the compression conditions and also investigate the structural response resulting of the same nanowire subjected to compression from crooked one.
