چکیده

Using of suitable active material in pseudocapacitors and supercapacitors in general, due to their unique characteristics in different applications is of great importance, on the other hand, using of different synthesis methods can provide a variety of morphologies. Cobalt and its derivatives are one of the materials that are in the spotlight today in energy storage sources, which researches have shown that using another metal element along with cobalt can achieve desirable properties. In this study, cobalt vanadium sulfide particles are synthesized using hydrothermal method using pressure and temperature in two stages. X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray energy diffraction spectroscopy (EDS) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) have been used to investigate the morphology. With the polymeric adhesive and black carbon, the materials were placed on nickel foam mechanically and cyclic voltammetry investigations with different scan rate were carried out on the sample, which obtained appropriate information about the potential of oxidation and reduction, reversibility and relative investigation of capacity at different scan rates. By examining the results, by increasing the scan rate, the capacity has increased and in terms of reversibility, the sample is at a suitable level and can be used as a suitable electrode for energy storage purposes.
