چکیده مقاله:

Some studies tried to identify some of the effective factors that can develop mathematical creativity in the educational levels. The goal of this paper is to study role of lecturer on nurturing creativity in math students from math students’ point of view and to present a conceptual model. This research is a qualitative research which conducted using grounded theory method. Participants were selected from among the students who are studying in mathematics in the universities of city of Tehran in Iran using purposive sampling and until to theoretical saturation, finally, semi structured in-depth interviews were conducted with 10 students. Data were transcribed and coded in the two stages of free and axial coding. Classification of similar codes led to several main categories. The result shows that lecturer can influence on several aspects: belief, Intention, Mathematical knowledge, mathematical thinking, personality characteristics such that being persistence, being risk taker and forgetting fixation.
