چکیده مقاله:

Water temperature is an important discussion through the soil mechanic subjects. In the present study effect of water temperature on the soils hydraulic conductivity with and without coarse aggregations by considering four types of soils which were classified based on unify system, were analyzed. Moreover, effect of sand and gravel presence in the soil was investigated through the infiltration phenomenon based on constant and inconstant water heads experiments. Results indicate that by increasing the water temperature adding the gravel through sandy soil causes the effect of temperature raise the hydraulic conductivity significantly which is assumed due to gravel presence. It is supposed the gravel causes that the contact surface between the warm water and the soil aggregates are decreased. So, the attracted thermal energy by soil aggregate is diminished which is directly felt the values of the kinetic energy. It is assumed that the hydraulic conductivity is dependent on the percentage of the porosities and the kinetic energy. It is deduced that due to decreasing the kinetic energy, the hydraulic conductivity tends to lower values. Furthermore, adding the sand to sandy silty clay soil showed that the sand injection did not have a marginal effect on the variation of hydraulic conductivity since the added sand cannot increase the contact surface like gravel. So aforementioned matter is related to the main diameter size of soil which is supposed that increase the attracting the thermal energy. Finally, increasing the main diameter size of soil the effect of water temperature on hydraulic conductivity and hydraulic conductivity is raising.
