چکیده مقاله:

Broadly speaking, this study tried to shed some light on the effect of oral corrective feedback (OCF) kinds including explicit and implicit feedback on the knowledge of collocation among Iranian EFL learners. To this end, three intact classes, including a control group and 2 experimental groups, participated in this study. The groups named explicit group (EG), implicit group (IG), and control group. All of the groups were given a collocational test as pretest of the study. Then, to run the treatment, EG received oral explicit feedback and IG received oral implicit feedback but control group received no feedback. At the end, another collocation test was run as the posttest of the study. Based on the findings, those students in experimental groups who received OCF outperformed better in posttest than students in control group who received no OCF. The findings also showed the students in EG outperformed better in posttest than those in IG.
