خلاصه مقاله:
Concurrent use of multiple medications, termed polypharmacy, is a type of treatment for elderly people and most patients with complex diseases. While the use of multiple drugs simultaneously can treat diseases more effectively, drugs may interact with each other. Polypharmacy side effects are the cause of drug-drug interaction (DDI). The knowledge of potential DDIs is critical for human safety and health. Most of the polypharmacy side effects are rare and usually not observed in small clinical testing, so, predicting the polypharmacy side effects is a challenging task in Bioinformatics. Recently some studies are developed to predict the polypharmacy side effects [1,2,3,4,5].
