The significant role of DNA polymerases in producing several copies of a specific segment of a gene is revealed to everyone. These enzymes are widely used in PCR (1). The technique which is imperative these days amid the pandemic. One important feature the enzyme must contain is being thermostable enough to tolerate the high temperature of the reaction. KOD1 as a selected enzyme to study, has 774 residues of amino acids. The most frequent residue is Glu (E) with the percentage 10.5% and then Lys(K) with the percentage 9.56%. It is categorized as family B DNA polymerases (2).
