خلاصه مقاله:
Thyme is one of the dark mint plants that is grown in different parts of the Mediterranean and some parts of Asia. And today it is cultivated and produced in different parts of the world, including Iran. Thyme contains 0.8 to 2.6 percent of essential oil, most of which is a combination of phenol, alkali and hydrocarbons. Thymol is a major component of its phenolic compounds. Today, thyme leaves are widely used in food products and its essential oil is used in chemical products, beverages, medicines, cosmetics. Thyme oil has anti-acne and anti-acne properties, anti-flatulence, food preservatives such as meat, anti-parasite and cream, anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal and anti-aging in mammals. Thyme essential oil is one of the famous and well-known essential oils that has a special place in world trade.
