Assessing the mental health status of health workers during the outbreak of Covid 19 through online media

pneumonia-like disease appeared in December 2019 in Wuhan city, Hubei province, China. In addition to the risk of death due to infection with the virus, this disease has also put unbearable psychological pressure on various society segments, especially health workers. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate health workers' mental health status during the outbreak of Covid 19 through online media. Methods: This article is a review based on information collected from the databases: Google Scholar, PubMed,Science Direct, and Civilica during 2019 and 2020 and by searching for the keywords Psychology-19, Coronavirus,mental health, and Online psychological services are provided. The general search for resources related to mental health and Covid 19 was 215 articles. By applying the time filter, this number was reduced to 97 articles. In the final stage, 19 articles were selected as relevant and final sources by removing duplicate articles and examining articles' relationship with the subject under study. Results: From a total of 19 studies, it was found that a better understanding of individuals' mental state and identifying risk factors involved in disrupting the mental health of employees during the outbreak of Covid 19 requires the provision of psychological services online and through cyberspace. The role of this type of service in an epidemic is greater than in face-to-face psychological interventions. In all articles, the impact of contributing risk factors in disrupting employees' mental health status includes frontline work, lack of equipment, quarantine, stigma, gender, caring for sick colleagues, fear of getting sick of themselves and family, and high blood pressure. The work has been examined.Conclusion: Mental health management during the outbreak of Covid 19 is as important as physical health management of employees, so a new model of prevention and intervention in mental crisis such as employee monitoring through platforms such as telephone, Internet and counseling and questionnaire is proposed. Online networks to assess the mental health status of health workers and identify risk factors affecting the occurrence or exacerbation of psychological disorders among employees. It is also possible to identify employees at greater risk psychologically and thus put them in a proper position.
