خلاصه مقاله:
In this paper, a new Class AB current mode amplifier is presented which utilizes Floating Current Source (FCS)structure instead of conventional one. The number of current sources is reduced due to the FCS structure. The magnitude of bias current can be arbitrarily reduced thanks to the controllability of this technique which causes significant reduction of power dissipation. Elimination of current transfer error is also another advantage of presented current amplifier. The proposed structure is simulated and analyzed in cadence using 180nm technology applying ±1 volt supply voltage. The power dissipation of proposed current mode amplifier is achieved as low as 1.01 μw which makes it suitable for low-voltage low-power applications. The presented circuit's capability to achieve high gain and CMRR with adjusting output stage transistors' dimensions is another advantage of the proposed amplifier
