Formation Damage Due to Gas incompatibility

Studies have shown that solvents with a gaseousnature, such as natural gas and CO2, as well as liquefied natural gasused in EOR operations cause flocculation and deposition ofasphaltene. It is noteworthy that in the method of injection ofmiscible gas this happens because it changes the composition ofcrude oil. In this study the researches about the gas incompatibilityhas been reviewed.
