Resident specialists Program from theory to practice according to development of health system

Background and objective: The main responsibility of the health system is improving health level. The purpose of the study is to examine on -call specialist from theory to practice.Methods: In this qualitative study, 27 experienced management of hospitals, and specialists were the participants . Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and the snowball method of data collection continued until the saturation of data. Then transcriptions of the interviews, deciding the meaning-based units, coding, categorization according to the similarity and symmetry, identification of themes were carried out. Afterwards, with the help of content analysis method the themes were analyzed.Results: In the present study obtained 4 axis and 11 areas from Resident program. The themes like the society and government attitude, accountability of the centers, indices in theory and practice had the same results . The themes like finance, human resource, infrastructure, way of program implementation, and paying the physician they are far from the theory.Conclusion: Regarding the opportunities and threats, and pros and cons of implementation of program, the findings can yield a more comprehensive model compared to the perception currently managers and experienced individuals of health system have in the face of the implementation of the program.
