چکیده

One of the most important and fundamental activities of human decision making is that man himself has a range of choices decisions and various operational options. And on many occasions selecting one of several decision options is essential. The present research seeks to apply different decision making methods In the Geographic Information System locating areas for the construction of an Residential city Using the Geographic Information System and Multi-criteria Assessments of Malayer City. This research provides the ground for further detailed research by finding optimal locations in Malayer. The results of this study indicate that the best places to construct a site in the Residential city are south of Malayer. Taking into account all the factors influencing the location of the Residential town and the weight of each of the criteria and sub-criteria by the method of weighting AHP we concluded thatas well as the maps obtained in this connection with the fuzzy and topsis models Which is almost the proper location of the town of Malayer in the southern and southwestern parts of the country and we conclude that this is due to the percentage of compliance with the rules of decision with three criteria of population geology and proximity to communication routes in the city of Malayer Among the methods used to locate fuzzy topsis and fuzzy tops the following methods are fuzzy tops fuzzy index overlap and Boolean but this is based on evaluations based on the three main factors.
