چکیده

As the world is faced with the health crisis of COVID-19 pandemic, one of the challenged areas that calls for consideration is cultural heritage. According to advisory bodies, cultural heritage is counted as a source of resilience in crisis time and for recovery1, while, during the pandemic cultural heritage sites and communities worldwide may have been affected in different ways. Respectively, experts in cultural heritage management have to deal with the limitations initiated as direct and indirect consequences of that; also, they may turn challenges into opportunities. On one side, there are constraints in regard of tourism, finances, health measures, cultural exchange and sense of identity that can confront cultural heritage management; and on the opposite, there are some possible makeshifts by taking advantage of the digital platforms, contribution of intangible heritage, and reduced pressure on cultural heritage. This paper is intended to discuss how cultural heritage management is distressed and how it may contribute in resilience during the crisis of COVID-19 pandemic
