On the Uzawa Accelerated Over-Relaxation Iterative Method for the Elliptic PDE-Constrained Optimization Problems

In this paper, we give Uzawa variant of accelerated over-relaxation(UAOR) iterative method for solving the elliptic PDE-constrained optimization problems. A functional equation, relates the involved parameters and the eigenvalues of the iteration matrix of the UAOR method. Numerical results are presented to show efficiency and accuracy of the proposed UAOR method.
