Study of groundwater and bedrock of Chardoli plain using classical statistics method based on geoelectric data

چکیده مقاله:

Chardoli Plain located in the southeast of Kurdistan province in Iran, according to the large number of villages and its people engaged in agriculture and animal husbandry, Study of ground water to determination of the optimal location of wells is important. In this regard, geoelectric technique was used for studies of groundwater quality and quantity of Chardoli Plain.In this research, the resolution of the subsurface layers, detection of saturated zone, determination of basement, detection of the general direction ofgroundwater and changes of resistivity in sounding points and profiles have been studied and 100 electrical soundings with a maximum current line of1000 meters have been taken along 18 profiles. Finally, the purpose of this study is to investigate alluvial sediments in terms of thickness, granulation, how it spreads, as well as the relative quality of groundwater and bed rock material to the extent of geoelectric science. From the results of inversion of the surveyed data by geoelectric method with Schlamberger array, the strength of the subsurface layers and the strength of the bedrock are obtained. In this paper, by separating classical statistical methods, the resistance of the region in terms of virgin and aerated has been done.
