Improve the lifetime of wireless sensor networks using a mobile Sink and combine fuzzy algorithms in clustering time

A wireless sensor network consists of a large number of sensor node that has been distributed in a specific area, and each of them has the ability to collect data from the environment and send them to the base station. Data gathering is one of the main tasks in wireless sensor networks. The researchers showed that the nodes closest to the Sink, which play a relay node in the data gathering, their batteries will end sooner, and this energy consumption will reduce the network lifetime. Because the wireless sensor networks are strictly limited in terms of resources and their batteries are non-rechargeable in most applications. In this research, we present a new algorithm based on fuzzy logic and mobile Sinks by studying the LEACH and JMR algorithms.We tested the proposed algorithm by MATLAB simulation, and simulated results in different environments with different nodes show that the proposed algorithm is better than the LEACH and JMR protocols in terms of enhancing the network lifespan.
