چکیده مقاله:

Occurrence of earthquake, typhoons and thunderstorms occurrence are indicative of vulnerability and weakens of human against natural forces, regardless of how advanced a country is. One of the main existing challenges in structure engineering is developing optimization and reinforcement ideologies in rejecting the great forces inflicted on a structure with the least effect and its protection together with the residence therein. Fluid viscos damping is one of the energy absorbing systems which as to its physical size is capable of absorbing high energy. The fluid viscos damping as the choice in seismic reinforcement are introduced and their contribution in different structure of 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 stories high made of steel or concrete are assessed. In assessing the seismic behavior of the subject building the dynamic non-linear analysis is applied. For this purpose the accelerogram of close and far and their solidification are applied according to 2800 regulations in SAP S/W. the results indicate that viscos damping, considerably reduce the plastic joints and shear base in structures making it deformed. This effect reduces for building above 25 stories. The time chronology analysis reveals that permanent displacements decrease in structure with damper.
